Since 2014, Okanagan Lifestyle has proudly contributed to the fabric of our region. From supporting youth mental health initiatives and local entrepreneurs to collaborating with visionary partners, we are continuously finding ways to uplift and give back.

Our Charitable Initiatives + Community Leadership

Open Space Event Series – In 2023, OKGN co-founded Open Space alongside Third Space Charity — a quarterly community counselling event series designed to create space for honest connection and accessible support. To date, the series has welcomed over 500 guests and raised more than $80,000 toward pay-what-you-can counselling for young adults in our community.

This series is active and ongoing. If you’d like to get involved as a sponsor, supporter, volunteer, or attendee, please contact us.

Non-Profit + Community Collab Collections – The OKGN brand proudly partners with Okanagan local and Canadian non-profit organizations, donating a portion of profits back to the causes they support. These collaborations include, but are not limited to the OKGN x CCMA Collection and the OKGN x MTBCO Collection.

OKGN Strong – Following the devastating 2023 Okanagan wildfires, OKGN launched the OKGN Strong Collection, donating 100% of profits directly to fire relief efforts through the Central Okanagan Food Bank and Mamas for Mamas. A total of $10,000 was donated.

Pride – For over a decade, OKGN has upheld its core value of being a welcoming space for all. Through ongoing Pride collections and pop-ups, thousands of dollars have been donated to organizations including The Bridge Youth & Family Services, Et Cetera Group, Foundry Kelowna, and This Space Belongs to You.

Local Artists + Makers – OKGN is deeply committed to uplifting local creatives. Our shop regularly hosts pop-ups supporting small artists and brands, while also featuring collaborations within our product line including graphic artist Ashley Greene (artist tees), goldsmith Brittany Beuttner of Scenic Route Jewellery, Julia Mathers of The Market Bags (OKGN tote bags), and illustrator Sara Peacock of Drawn Illustrations (handmade cards).

Local Sports Teams – Each year, OKGN donates hundreds of dollars’ worth of in-kind goods to support local athletes and leaders of all ages, genders, and abilities.

Homebase Slo-Pitch Tournament – A collaborative effort with investors and the KGH Foundation in support of JoeAnna’s House. Over five years, the tournament raised more than $746,000, benefiting essential community programs before its retirement.
