E-commerce Marketing and Creative Manager

Job Overview:

As the E-commerce Marketing and Creative Manager, you will lead the execution of our digital marketing efforts, ensuring the essence of our brand is vividly conveyed across all platforms. This role requires a blend of creative vision, strategic thinking, and operational efficiency, aimed at enhancing our digital presence, driving e-commerce growth, and deepening community engagement.

In-house and full-time position. Must live in the Okanagan


  • Marketing Management:
        • Develop and refine marketing strategies in collaboration with the CMO, tailored to target demographics and market trends.
        • Lead campaign execution, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring alignment with brand objectives.
        • Monitor and analyse key performance indicators, providing regular reports and insights to guide future strategies.
  • Social Media Management:
        • Craft a dynamic social media strategy, integrating product, community and brand messaging.
        • Produce, edit, and schedule engaging video, photo, and graphic content, maintaining a consistent posting schedule.
        • Analyse and report on social media performance, optimising for growth and conversion.
  • Email Marketing:
        • Develop and implement a comprehensive email marketing strategy.
        • Design and curate engaging email content, managing a regular distribution schedule.
        • Analyse and report on email campaign performance, optimising for engagement and conversion.
  • Ambassador Program Management:
        • Strategize and execute the ambassador program, identifying and reaching out to potential ambassadors who align with our brand values.
        • Manage ongoing communications and ensure timely execution of ambassador responsibilities.
        • Regularly review and assess the impact of the ambassador program on brand awareness and engagement.
  • Photoshoot Production & Creative Direction:
        • Conceptualize and execute photoshoots, coordinating with photographers, models, and other creatives.
        • Source and book models/ambassadors, photographers, and locations when needed.
        • Lead creative direction with the creation of mood boards and detailed shot lists
        • Create photoshoot day of schedule and keep team on task
        • Oversee all aspects of photoshoot styling, ensuring alignment with brand image and campaign goals.
        • Manage post-shoot processes, including selection of images for marketing use.
  • Shopify and Website Management:
        • Regularly update website content and layout, optimizing for user experience, SEO, and conversion.
        • Manage online product catalog, including new product uploads and updates.
        • Track and analyze website traffic and user behavior to inform enhancements and marketing strategies.
  • Event and Community Engagement:
        • Coordinate with store team on upcoming events that need to be marketed across all digital platforms
        • Develop promotional materials and strategies for maximizing event attendance and engagement.

    Success Indicators:

    • Significant growth in e-commerce sales.
    • Expansion of social media audience and email list.
    • Innovative campaigns that reflect our brand and values.
    • High engagement and attendance in community events.

    Required Skills/Experience:

    • 3-5+ years experience in Marketing or similar role 
    • Proven experience in digital marketing and e-commerce.
    • Proficiency in Shopify, social media platforms, and scheduling tools like Later.
    • Strong skills in graphic design, video editing, and content creation.
    • Excellent project management, communication, and collaborative abilities.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
    • Must be based in Kelowna, BC.

    Wage expectations:

    $40,000-60,000 annual
